Mildred Nix Huie

Mildred Nix Huie was a St Simons Island impressionist painter for over 60 years. Her paintings are in the permanent collection
of The Morris Museum of Art in Augusta, Georgia. A special exhibit of her paintings was held in October 2021.  Mildred's work is also in the permanent collections of Shorter College, Brenau, Sea Island Company, as well as private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Mildred's daughter, Millie, has many of her stunning paintings available on this site as well as eBay. Please reach out with any questions.
