St. Simons Art Gallery

Mildred Nix Huie was St Simons Island impressionist and painter for over 60 years. She lived here and painted art of the sea islands. Having majored in Latin and minored in Greek, she always documented her landmark paintings in writing. Her daughter, Mildred Huie Wilcox, has since authenticated each painting as well.
